About Peter
As a multi-award-winning writer, producer, and director for television and film, I bring a wealth of experience to teaching screenwriting. My career spans genres and mediums, from mystery thrillers like AROUND ROBIN—an award-winning feature that has captivated international audiences—to writing for acclaimed television series such as HBO's THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN and EMILY OF NEW MOON. In addition to screenwriting, I’ve also authored an acclaimed novel, "BILLY (THE KID)", and a memoir, "MYSTERIES OF THE LIFE FORCE: MY APPRENTICESHIP WITH A CHI KUNG MASTER". I have a Master’s degree from Stanford, and I'm a member of the WGA, BAFTA, and SAG. I’ve taught screenwriting at international festivals, workshops, and institutions across North America. Above all, my passion for storytelling is matched by my commitment to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and writers. Whether you’re a beginner exploring the craft or an advanced student refining your skills, you’ll find in me not just a teacher but a mentor who genuinely cares about your success.

Case Studies: Analyze iconic screenplays, focusing on what makes them work—structure, dialogue, and character development.
Typical Lesson Plan: Exploring the Three-Act Structure
Objective: To understand the three-act structure, focusing on theme, character arcs, and memorable dialogue.
