About Nancy
Vocal range extension and precise diction are the primary tools I use to help you find your unique sound. I noticed that most singers arrive with plenty of raw talent but lack a plan to keep their instrument healthy over time.
My BFA from Belmont University provided the science behind the art, which I combine with 10 years of experience to ensure your voice lasts. I keep things grounded and practical because I want you to feel capable. Sometimes simplicity is the best path. You need to understand how to manage your vibrato control and microphone technique before you can worry about the finer details of performance.
I have worked with 362 students to refine their craft and reach new levels of clarity. My approach is based on what I learned after 6 years of gigging with just a mic and my own voice. It is really just about showing up and doing the work.

Singing with total performance confidence is the ultimate result we aim for during every meeting. I find that most people ignore the basics of vocal health and care until they actually encounter a problem that stops them from singing entirely. I use my 10 years of experience to guide you through warm up exercises that I record for your daily home practice. These routines are designed to keep you consistent when I am not in the room to supervise.
My BFA background ensures that our sessions remain grounded in healthy technique rather than just guessing what works. We will break down sight singing and articulation so you can handle any piece of music with ease. Seeing the moment when a singer finally stops worrying about their technique and starts actually performing is the most enjoyable part of this process.
