About Manish
I am a Senior Software Engineer in R&D at Tecsage Innovation, where I specialize in building high-performance industrial software. Over the last few years, I’ve led the development of EnDoc, a Java-based application used by Greaves Cotton Ltd. and several IITs for the critical calibration and testing of engine technologies.
My work sits at the intersection of complex logic and real-world machinery. I’ve developed Engine Management Systems (EMS) for everything from standard diesel engines to the next generation of Hybrid and Hydrogen powertrains. Whether it’s automating EGR systems or integrating SQL databases for industrial monitoring, I focus on creating software that is robust, precise, and capable of operating without manual intervention.
Beyond the office, I’m a hands-on tech enthusiast and an aspiring author:
Authoring: I am currently writing a comprehensive ebook on Hydrogen and Hybrid Powertrains to bridge the gap between R&D and practical application.
Mechanical Interest: I’m a rider and a DIY mechanic for my TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, which helps me understand the "physical" side of the engines I write code for.
Structured Logic: I have a deep interest in the logical systems of professional astrology, which appeals to the same part of my brain that enjoys debugging and architecture.
I believe in "Software Craftsmanship"—the idea that code should be as reliable as the engines it controls. I’m currently preparing for a major personal milestone as I get married this April, followed by a trip to Kerala, before diving back into the future of green engine technology.

Instead of a traditional classroom, treat your sessions like a Junior Developer Mentorship.
The "Live Build" Strategy: Don't just show slides. Open your IDE and write code from scratch. Show them your errors, how you read the stack trace, and how you fix them. This "Live Debugging" is the most valuable lesson a senior dev can give.
The Industrial Case Study: Use simplified versions of your real work.
Example: Instead of a "Library Management System," have them build a "Digital Engine Dashboard" using Java Swing that reads simulated data from an SQLite database.
Modular Learning (The "Engine Block" Method):
Core Logic: Building the "Engine" (Methods, Loops, Logic).
Data Handling: The "Fuel System" (Variables, Collections, SQL).
The Interface: The "Dashboard" (Java Swing, Event Listeners).
Code Reviews: Once a week, act as the "Lead Engineer." Review their code for efficiency, naming conventions, and "clean code" principles, just as you would in a professional R&D environment.
