About Vera
Hello! My name is Vera Ellen. I am 24 years old and am currently play guitar and sing in Girl Friday as well composing/playing solo. I moved from New Zealand to Los Angeles to pursue music and have been playing guitar and writing since I was 8 years old.
It's important to me that my students feel comfortable, relaxed and happy. I arrange what I teach based on your music taste and what you want to learn and play as a guitarist.
If song writing is of interest to you I will help you compose/give you tools to compose your own stuff. And If you like I can help you record a demo to start getting your stuff out there. I especially love to teach fellow women/non binary folk.
Music means the whole world to me and It's my joy to share whatever I can with you. I am calm, patient and will always offer a cup of tea :-)

My first step is to really get to know what the student wants from these lessons, what their music taste is and what kind of music they would like to learn. If the student is unsure that's completely fine - I am more then happy to get you started. From their I start to formulate lesson plans. I ensure each lesson includes a variety of technique to keep it fun and cover all bases.
