About Mika
I have continued my career as a teacher in each place after I left Japan for overseas due to my husband’s work. While I was a teacher in private elementary school in Osaka, Japan, I was responsible for both home room teacher and elementary English education with assistant English native teacher.
In San Francisco, I had taught language literature for 6th - 8th grade in Japanese middle school. I collaborated with the students to deeply understand background of language literature and the intents of author and learn Japanese history when we study ancient literature. I had enjoyed and learnt a lot through these activities and leading a fruitful time in the school.
I moved in St.Louis recently and am very excited to teach Japanese speaking, reading , writing and how to make sentences for all levels!
