About Yara
I have over 7 years of experience teaching piano and hold an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My greatest joy as a teacher is helping students connect emotionally with the music they play. I believe music is more than just notes on a page—it’s a form of expression that can inspire and heal. In my lessons, I focus on building a strong foundation in both theory and technique. Understanding the basics helps students play with confidence and freedom. I tailor each lesson to fit the student’s goals and learning style, whether they want to perform, compose, or simply enjoy playing. I encourage creativity and expression while guiding students through proper finger technique, sight-reading, and rhythm. My approach balances discipline with fun, making sure learning feels rewarding every step of the way. Seeing my students grow in skill and passion is what drives me. I design individual lesson plans that fit your pace, style, and goals—whether you're just starting or looking to deepen your musical journey. Musicality is at the heart of every lesson. I help students not just play notes, but feel the music.
Confidence is key, so I create a supportive space where students feel free to try, make mistakes, and improve. I teach classical, pop, jazz, soul, and more, giving students the freedom to explore different genres. For those who compose or create, I guide you in developing original music, improvisation, and songwriting.
