I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in Music Performance. Before that, I played the viola for almost 20 years. During those 20 years, I have learned the importance of patience and the power of having a positive, growth-oriented mindset.

Mistakes are okay here! That is how we learn, and I believe that no student should ever leave a lesson feeling worse than when they came in. I stress the importance of deliberate practice and self-reflection to attain mastery. Ear training and music theory are foundational skills. I want to help students build their knowledge so they can be better musicians overall. My goal is to teach you how to do more than just play notes; I want you to think, analyze, and reflect so you can achieve your musical goals!
