My Approach to Tutoring: As an experienced early childhood educator, my approach is rooted in creating a positive, supportive, and interactive learning environment. Techniques and Teaching Methodology: Play-Based Learning: I integrate learning through play, allowing children to grasp concepts naturally and in a fun, engaging way. Hands-On Activities: Using arts and crafts, sensory play, songs, and interactive games, I ensure lessons are both enjoyable and educational. Personalized Approach: I adapt my teaching style to fit each child's unique learning style and pace, using positive reinforcement to build confidence. Storytelling and Visual Aids: I use stories, visuals, and props to make lessons more engaging and to help children better understand new concepts. Typical Length of a Lesson: Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s attention span and age group. For younger children, shorter, more frequent sessions tend to be most effective to maintain engagement while still achieving educational goals. Qualifications/Experience: I’m a part-time student Degree in Primary Education from Open University Malaysia, and have 3 years of hands-on experience teaching young children in preschools & daycare centers. My experience includes working with children across various developmental stages, helping them build critical social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are designed for children aged 0 to 12, from preschool through early elementary school. Whether your child is learning basic literacy and numeracy skills, developing social skills, or preparing for the next academic stage, I offer personalized lessons that support their growth and learning journey.
