About Rosie
I tutor Chemistry with a strong focus on forensic applications, supported by my MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. Over the past two years, I have guided students through the science of investigation. My teaching covers drug analysis, toxicology, and the methods used in crime scene processing. Simulated case files bring realism into lessons, creating hands-on learning experiences. Analytical instrumentation is explained from the ground up, so students understand how tools reveal hidden details. I highlight techniques such as chromatography and spectroscopy, showing their forensic relevance. Ethical considerations are embedded in every lesson, as they are crucial to forensic practice. My approach is interdisciplinary, linking chemistry to biology, physics, and law. Students preparing for forensic science careers benefit from targeted skill-building. Those aiming for law enforcement roles gain clarity in applying scientific reasoning. Lessons are structured but engaging, always encouraging curiosity. I provide feedback that supports both understanding and confidence. Chemistry becomes more than formulas—it becomes a means to serve truth. Together, we explore how science can solve mysteries and contribute to justice.

Teaching Chemistry requires both structure and creativity. My methodology is systematic, focusing heavily on organic chemistry. Students learn nomenclature, functional groups, reaction mechanisms, and isomerism with clarity. I break down molecular complexity into smaller, digestible parts. Lessons include practice with organic synthesis, building logical problem-solving skills. Real-world connections are emphasized, especially in environmental and marine chemistry. Students preparing for careers in these fields learn how carbon compounds impact sustainability and ecosystems. Visual aids, models, and clear diagrams are used to support understanding. Feedback is consistent and encourages steady improvement. Each lesson builds logically, reinforcing what has been learned before. Sessions are interactive and discussion-based, keeping students engaged. My aim is to create confidence alongside knowledge. With support and structure, organic chemistry becomes both accessible and relevant. Every learner is guided toward success in mastering carbon chemistry.
