About Isha
I’m a Math tutor with over 2 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Mathematics. My focus lies in helping students see how mathematics powers real-world decisions, especially in economics and business. I use game theory and optimization techniques to bring complex concepts to life, showing how strategy and logic work hand in hand. One of my favorite topics to teach is the Nash equilibrium—how individuals make the best choices when others are doing the same. My teaching approach in Maths is gentle, reflective, and deeply focused on building conceptual clarity—especially in higher-level topics like abstract algebra, number theory, mathematical proofs, and advanced theoretical concepts. I believe that understanding should come before memorization, and I guide students to ask the "why" behind every formula or theorem. Rather than rushing through problem sets, I help learners slow down, think critically, and connect ideas.
I work especially well with self-driven students, DIY learners, and independent thinkers. I encourage them to explore mathematical ideas in their own way, supporting their curiosity and helping them shape a personal relationship with complex topics. Together, we take deep dives into structures, patterns, and logic, uncovering the beauty of rigorous proof and abstract reasoning.
