I am in the band Sir, Please and have had the opportunities to play hundreds of live shows opening for Bands/Artists like:
Martin Morris, Kings of Leon, Dave Mathew’s Band, REO Speedwagon, Ambrosia, and more…
I have also been recording guitar and drums on many studio albums alongside live performances.
I have spent the past 5 years teaching private lessons along with group lessons with the legendary Matt McKagen at the Lindero Canyon Middle School and the Rock and Roll High summer program.

I approach teaching music from an unorthodox perspective. I teach students how to emphasize their personality within their playing. Instead of focusing purely on technique, I mainly focus on letting students emotions take over in their playing. For beginners, we start this process by learning the music the student likes to listen to and follow up with expanding upon those songs with new chord progressions and solos to better understand The emotions that particular song makes them feel. With advanced players, instead of learning songs, I focus on associating aspects of music theory with the students emotion in order to create new material that highlights those feelings!
