About Beau

Currently producing under the name 'Bohemyth' I have worked with Grammy artists and have had some of my tracks played out by the biggest names in Bass music including DJ Diesel, Jon Casey & Great Dane. I receive an average of 100k streams annually and played my first major music festival 'Lightning in a Bottle' in May. Some of my current projects include an official remix of the Dubstep hit 'Android Porn' and several singles set for release. I have attended and completed the prestigious 'Icon Collective' and hold other degrees and certificates. As well, I currently educate at 343 Labs New York. About the lesson

With all the generic masterclasses and college courses available, these sessions are your time dedicated to YOU and what questions you currently have to get past your existing roadblocks in your production. I encourage students to write down questions and come prepared with as many problems as possible so that you can get the most out of each session. I adapt to all kinds of learning styles including those who learn by doing or getting things explained simply.

When did you first develop a passion for music and your favorite instrument?
I first developed a passion for music when I was very young. Maybe three or four. I remember being obsessed with Michael Jackson. Throughout the course of the rest of my life, I, eventually leading to music production in my early 20s.
Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?
For me, I love bass and trap music. Some of my favorite artist include Jon Casey, Mr. Carmack & more.
Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.
In my opinion, the most challenging part about music, namely, music production is the thought process you enter a session with. All of the techniques I would say, you can learn pretty easily, however, learning to think about how you think when you enter a session is the key to success.
What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?
As far as instruments go, I would say, the music producer truly reign supreme. Not only are you mixing, arranging, producing, sound design, and more, you are responsible for the promotion of your track.
What are your keys to success?
My main key to success is consistency.
Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.
Three musicians, I've always dreamed of meeting or one, Paul McCartney, because he's a legend, too, Skrillex, because of all he has done an electronic music, and three, Troyboi, because he has had such a dramatic impact on electronic trap music.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.
While attending Icon, collective college production, I found out that one of my all-time favorite producers (Great Dane) was actually serving as a mentor there. After requesting him several times, he was granted to me as a mentor. We became close friends and eventually even roommates. This friendship has benefited me greatly in my music career and we still remain close friends today.
What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?
Why do you need thing that I would say I am proud of is my ability to teach music production, and describe things in a palatable, easy to understand way.
