About Thamiris
I have a degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and is currently taking a Master's degree in Materials Science and Technology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). During my graduation, I developed research projects in the area of education, more specifically on Science Teaching and Gender and Science. I also developed projects and internship in the field of Physics, more specifically with the development of electronic devices and nanomagnetism at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (LNNano) which is part of the CNPEM which is a world reference research center. I have 6 years of experience with private lessons in Physics and Mathematics and I have been an intern for 2 years in public and private schools. I also worked as a Physics monitor for preparatory classes for the entrance exam for Medicine, where I gained experience with the preparation of interdisciplinary contents between Physics and Medicine. I'm a science enthusiast and passionate about teaching! :)

I always seek to develop the autonomy of my students, through personalized classes and using active methodologies with which I was involved during my training. In my classes, students actively participate in their own learning process, so that we can discover together the best method of study, based on their previous experiences and particularities. Classes are online and may involve the demonstration of experiments, educational simulations, solving exercises and open problems, as well as, of course, exposing ideas and content through a digitizing table.
More than teaching specific content , I believe in the importance of learning to learn, and I guarantee that I can help!
The classes are intended for students of any level (elementary, secondary and higher) who are willing to learn Physics and/or Mathematics of efficiently and more.
