I hereby wish to apply for any temporary / permanent vacancies.
I completed my B-Ed Degree part-time through Unisa while working permanently as a PA at Nuy Wine Cellar. (2010 - 2015) I have 5.5 years of experience in education. I started my teaching career with a temporary maternity leave position as a Grade R teacher at Parow East Primary School. After that I was appointed Grade R teacher at Simonsberg Primary School. Here I had to use Afrikaans and English as the language of instruction. I just finished as a Grade R educator at Round Table ACVV Day Care & Grade R in Caledon. I gained experience in the CAPS Curriculum during my 5 months practical at various schools. I also attended the CAPS training for Grade R. I am computer literate and can work on various computer systems due to my administrative background. (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CEMIS, Ezywine and Pastel) I am a hardworking person who strives to make a positive difference in education. I possess good communication skills and organizational qualities that help in the development of interpersonal relationships. I am adaptable to a new environment as well as circumstances and will therefore quickly find my feet in any position. I have a passion for young children and I believe that values, hard work, diligence, good planning, preparation and a purposeful vision are the key to great success. My goal is to make a difference in each child's life so that everyone can bring out the best in him / herself. I do not hesitate to help with extracurricular activities. I have experience in coaching concert performances and ball games for Grade 2s. I am also familiar with the presentation of hall meetings. I am also willing to equip myself with the necessary skills to help the school reach its full potential. I'm going to my netball coaching course and PDP soon.

As a Foundation Phase teacher, I have the ability to inspire learners to be the best version of themselves. I present my lessons in a fun way and am full of energy in my class. I take chances, like challenges and improvements and like to think outside the box. I am consistent and decisive. I am always up to date and have good communication skills. I have good listening skills and have empathy for all the learners' personal situations and obstacles. I like to plan new lessons and make tools for relevant themes and study material. I am observant, good with continuous observation and the assessment of learners. I like to motivate learners to reach their full potential. I am always prepared for the day's work and read through my daily planning in the mornings. My administrative files are up to date and well organized. I maintain regular communication with the parents and am happy to answer any concerns and questions. I am neat and creative and make sure my class always maintains a safe, creative and educational atmosphere. I gained experience in the CAPS curriculum during my 5 years teaching at various schools. I also attended the CAPS training for Grade R. I have excellent computer skills and can work on various computer systems due to my administrative background. I have good leadership qualities and can organize, delegate and lead well. Integrity is of the utmost importance to me. I am also familiar with the presentation of assemblies and speeches.
