Ian and I met in college during my sophomore year at William and Mary. When I first met him, it was apparent that Ian has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others. When he is passionate about a subject, he explains it in a way that is undertsandable, personable, and not overbearing. When we discuss complicated topics, Ian explains them to me until I undertstand, and does so cheerfully.
Ian and I met in my data science class this past semester. Ian tutored me in python and was very helpful in explaining the concepts I was stuck on. Altogether, I would not have been as successful in the class had I not had the help of Ian. He was very patient, eager to help whoever needed and, was able to communicate difficult concepts in a more understandable way. He was essential to my learning experience!
