About Janet
I am a dedicated music educator with experience in preparing students from diverse musical backgrounds and skill levels.
I provide a comprehensive approach to music education, offering practical guidance for beginners and advanced improvisation techniques for instrumentalists to enhance their musicianship.
I also specialize in mentoring music enthusiasts preparing for certification exams, including ABRSM,
Trinity College London,
Rockschool (RSL Awards),
Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), AMEB, and
London College of Music (LCM)
graded exams. My teaching covers both music theory and practical aspects. In theory, I focus on the rudiments of music, sight-reading, and transcription.
In practical lessons, I train learners to play a variety of instruments, such as the saxophone, violin, viola, recorder, keyboard, and guitar. As a graduate of music, I teach part-time in schools and conduct private lessons for children from age 3 and adults.
I am proficient in playing the violin, keyboard, saxophone, and guitar. My mission is to provide a balanced education in both the theoretical and practical aspects of music, empowering learners to achieve their musical aspirations.
