About James
I have been teaching piano since grade school. I have not taught music theory privately, however, I have taught and tutored students. I am capable of teaching up until BA-level theory. I teach and adapt frequently to my students' understanding and levels. I will not spend too much time on concepts that are already familiar. I often teach via the Royal Conservatory of Music Certificate Program. I also am capable of teaching what is required for preparation of the AP Music Theory exam. I took the exam as sophomore in high school and received a 5.
