I got 90% in my boards in maths. Always loved maths and geometry and what not. More than words I can understand formulas .I am currently studying economics honours which is a perfect combination of maths and real life problems.

I start with a real life problem and describe the need of it maths in solving it. Because most students struggle with maths because they can't relate it with real life and just by learning formulas it's difficult to study maths.
