About Megan
Having directed for a number of years alongside my professional acting career, it made sense to start coaching too! I love bringing out the best performances from people by digging into our strengths and weaknesses and making exciting discoveries about ourselves and the work.
As a theatre actor, I have performed in The Mousetrap (West End), Olivier nominated comedy Pride and Prejudice Sort Of (UK Tour), Twelfth Night (Theatre on Kew), Doctor Who: Time Fracture (Off-West End), Pool No Water (The Royal Court), and Juniper and Jules (Edinburgh Fringe). I have also appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the new radio drama Next Season.
As a director, I am very focused on bringing out performers' strengths through play and careful script analysis. I have worked on productions at Theatre503, Greenwich Theatre, Camden People's Theatre, The Golden Goose, Tabbard Theatre, and the Rosemary Branch theatre.
As a LAMDA coach, I have taught through Stagecoach and TimeZone Academy teaching drama and musical theatre to children aged 5-15. Having completed LAMDA studies myself as a student, I know how daunting and rewarding it can be! With my help, I would love to bring out the best performance from your young performers with enthusiasm and play.

Feeling stuck with your audition prep?
I completely get it. Auditions are daunting! It's easy to get stuck in old rhythms and habits. Sometimes, drilling lines over and over is doing more harm than good. Sometimes, the best thing is a fresh perspective.
As a professional theatre actor and director, I want to bring out your best performance by returning to the script, world-building, mining the given circumstances, and crucially finding ways to play and bring out your most unique and engaging impulses. By building your confidence, I want you to feel empowered to bring your best performance to auditions, self-tapes, and exams.
Drama School Auditions / LAMDA Exams
Together, we will talk through your strengths and casting in order to choose the most suitable script for you. Then, we will dig into the text and explore through a range of acting methodologies and techniques. Eventually, we will perform and rework the performance with gentle re-direction. Ultimately, you will be left feeling empowered and prepared to bring your best, most alive and authentic performance yet.
Self-Tape / Audition Prep
Had a self-tape come through and have no idea where to start? It can feel overwhelming trying to cram your best performance into an all-too-short self-tape. Don't worry, I got you! Together, we can mine the text, the brief and sit with all the information provided by the casting team. We can talk through the style and the world of the audition, as well as getting into the best ways to tell the story you've been given. In the first half hour, we will talk through the text, as well as getting into the lived given circumstances. In the second half hour, we will work the script as actor and director, reworking it until you feel confident and ready to tape.
Self-Tape
If you need someone to read in, I also offer an hour to shoot the self-tape itself. As in my coaching, I will offer gentle re-direction, but ultimately I will ensure that you feel empowered to deliver the best self-tape you can.
