About Neeraja
Myself Neeraja, a joyful and energetic math teacher with 8 years of experience teaching young children. I have a unique approach to making math fun and exciting for my students. With my bright smile and creative lessons, I transform math into a game, using colorful visuals, songs, and hands-on activities to engage my little learners. I believe that math doesn't have to be boring or difficult. I incorporate interactive games, puzzles, and real-life examples to help children understand the concepts easily. Math addition sentences are simple equations that show how two or more numbers are added together. Here are a few examples for grade 1:
1. **3 + 2 = 5**
This means if you have 3 objects and add 2 more, you will have 5 objects in total.
2. **4 + 1 = 5**
If you start with 4 and add 1, you'll have 5.
3. **5 + 3 = 8**
If you have 5 apples and pick 3 more, you will have 8 apples in total.
These sentences help students understand how numbers combine to make a larger number.
