Passing an exam gets you a certificate, really understanding and being able to apply the concepts of a subject involves more work but will result in the ability to apply that subject and get results. That will assist both businesses and yourself to achieve goals. I would highly recommend you give Doug a go, he'll help you unravel your misconceptions and set you on the path to true understanding in this subject and thus give you the ability to obtain solid results with your coding.
