About Hayley
I am a web developer with 3 years of work experience having an advanced certificate as well as completed a Bachelors degree in 2016. I am also a certified teacher with Cambridge University, allowing me to pursue my passion to work closely with people both online and in-person, conducting a professional learning environment that applies to individual students needs.
I believe learning should be an enjoyable experience that is extremely relevant to an individual's real-life circumstances. A learning experience should not be a textbook task that simply has to be completed. I prefer an interactive teaching method that encourages curiosity in learners using their personal work or requirements requested of them outside if my classroom. Letting the student choose the focus of their lesson based on their specific needs or interests while still following a flexible structure helps achieve each student's unique goals. By putting my student's requests first, my role as a teacher is more guided and detailed to a pupil's strengths and weaknesses than a standard lecturer teaching a set syllabus or curriculum would be. my Motto is - a fun and relatable class is a memorable class.
Leading with the element of flexibility and relevance in the classroom is what I specialize in doing. A student-centric approach towards lesson topics ensures that the experience is useful as possible to each specific student's needs. I often cater to the bases of individual project requirements at a university level often with pressured deadlines. Using malleable teaching frameworks assists the student in securing specific skills needed to meet such urgent deadlines efficiently and effectively.
I keep my classes as adaptable as possible with both lesson topics as well as time schedule, fitting your 'as and when needed requirements'. This strategy keeps student's goals insight and sustains measurable results throughout the tutoring process.
