About Vaughn
I'm a Mathematical physics student at the university of waterloo. Throughout both middle school and high school my teachers consistently did not support me or believe in my goals, they simply saw me as a problem student. What kept me going was the one teacher who did believe in me. Now that I'm vastly more knowledgeable than I was, I hope to help someone else like she helped me, because one person really can make a big difference. I look forward to getting to know you, and to helping you succeed.

I'm currently on an off term, and I love teaching concepts from, and sharing my enthusiasm for the sciences and maths.
I don't believe in things like memorization or mnemonic devices instead I believe that showing students why they should care about and be interested in the subjects I teach is the best way to make sure my lessons will continue to help after I'm done teaching them.
I am able to tutor students who are planning on taking, in the middle of, or have taken math or physics courses at middle school or high school level
I will develop a lesson plan after a few loosely structured lessons once I believe I know how my student learns best

Vaughn has genuinely helped me get through most of my math course with his knowledge and down to earth nature. He puts the concepts into understandable bite sized pieces and is amazing at communicating key terms in simple words that anyone can understand.
