About Kollin
I am a biology major at Washington University in St. Louis with extensive coursework in biology and chemistry and several years of experience in cancer research. My work in a biomedical research laboratory focuses on understanding mechanisms of cancer and treatment responses, which has given me a deep understanding of scientific concepts and how to communicate them clearly. I have also contributed to research presentations and scientific publications. In addition to academics, I am a college football player, which has taught me discipline, leadership, and strong time management. I bring that same focus and commitment to tutoring, helping students build confidence and succeed in challenging science courses.

I focus on helping students truly understand science rather than just memorize information. As a biology major at Washington University in St. Louis with extensive research experience, I have a strong background in biology, chemistry, and related sciences. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building confidence in challenging subjects.
I explain complex topics in simple, clear ways and work through practice problems step by step so students can develop strong problem-solving skills. I also help students learn effective study strategies that make difficult material easier to manage. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving their understanding.
