About Jessica
Hello!
I'm currently a second year medicine student at the University of Nottingham! With a strong passion for learning (especially science and maths!!!) coupled with my communication skills that have been further developed whilst at medical school, I can articulate topics that students find challenging in a fun and easy manner.I absolutely love Medicine because it combines all the aspects of biology, chemistry and maths and puts it into a human, clinical context. Hopefully, I will be able to convince you how cool these subjects are!! As well as Medicine, I am also a competitive powerlifter! I have competed at Junior Nationals this year and am part of the committee at my Uni society, I love powerlifting just as much as Medicine!
I aim to help my students improve by providing fun and interactive lessons, with a strong focus on nailing exam technique so students are prepared for any question that may pop up in an exam!Exam technique is really important with any subject! You will be surprised at how repetitive exams are in styles of questions and specific topics they question on (this is especially common in science subjects).
My aim is to provide fun and interactive lessons that get the student comfortable with the topic content, and then focus on answering exam questions and making students more comfortable with exams!
I will provide these lessons through a mixture of PowerPoints and interactive whiteboards, with lots of questions and tasks throughout to engage the student in active learning (and hopefully making it more enjoyable too! :) )
