About Tom
I am a professional screenwriter and playwright for TV, theatre, film and radio. I write for BBC TV & Radio as well as theatres around the UK and the BFI and Film4. I identify as LGBT and disabled and am passionate about widening access to the industry for underrepresented writers. I regularly mentor for Screenskills and sit on the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Equality and Diversity committee. I regularly teach writing workshops for theatres and groups but my passion is working one-to-one with writers. I am a former BBC TV script editor and radio drama producer so have a wealth of industry experience from both sides of the desk!
