About Oksana
My main purpose is to be helpful for my students, that is why it is important for me to understand student's aims and goals. I have been a teacher for 11 years now and worked with students of different ages and know how to be both a friend and a leader in a student-teacher relationship. I have a degree in translation (Russian-English/English-Russian), TKT Cambridge Certificate, and a diploma in teaching Russian as a foreign language.

It is a general truth that all aspects of language are important, that is why any teaching methodology is based on the different tactics and methods that are aimed at meeting requirements of a learner. One of the most popular tendencies in learning a foreign language nowadays is through practice of speaking, which seems to be fair enough. However, even when the learner knows quite a few words and word combinations in the foreign language it is not always enough to be confident in it, because of the differences in language typologies (use of language, word formation, structure of a sentence).Therefore, it is important to not only learn patterns of the language, but to grasp the rules of the language and be able to express yourself.
In addition to this it is valuable to learn about the history and culture of the country in order to better understand a native speaker and to reply in accordance with the situation.
