About Kieran
I'm a graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, with a specialisation in the field of jazz double bass. This is backed up with around a decade as a professional musician in styles ranging from rock and pop to punk and jazz. I have experience in teaching students from a range of ages from primary to secondary and can help with any subject in the field of music.

I like to focus on an ear-based method of teaching, essentially "if you can sing it, you can play it". I favour the Kodaly approach, and learning music by making music. I can offer guidance from years of professional music-making, as well as instruction on music fundamentals
