About Tess
I have 4 years of experience teaching singing and hold a PhD in Vocal Arts Education. Throughout my career, I have worked with students interested in improving vocal technique, performance ability, and musical expression. Supporting learners as they discover their voice is something I truly enjoy.
My teaching style combines technical understanding with encouragement and creativity. I believe every student has unique strengths that can be developed through consistent practice and thoughtful guidance. Lessons are designed to support both confidence and skill development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying vocal pedagogy, exploring different musical genres, and attending live performances. These experiences continue to inspire my teaching approach. I am passionate about helping students grow into expressive and confident singers.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop a healthy voice while building confidence and musical awareness. We work on breath control, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, articulation, resonance, and song interpretation through practical and supportive exercises. Every lesson encourages progress in both technique and performance.
Students participate in warm-up routines, listening activities, vocal exercises, repertoire development, and confidence-building practices. I provide clear guidance that helps learners understand how to use their voice effectively. Lessons are customized to suit individual goals and musical interests.
I enjoy helping students become more comfortable expressing themselves through singing. Through regular encouragement and constructive feedback, learners strengthen their skills and gain greater confidence. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning environment where students feel motivated to succeed.
