About Isla
I have 12 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Vocal Pedagogy. Throughout my career, I have worked with singers from many different backgrounds and helped them develop both technical ability and artistic confidence. Teaching singing allows me to combine education with creativity in a meaningful way.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and individual growth. I help students understand their voice while building healthy habits that support long-term development. Every learner receives personalized guidance based on their strengths and goals.
Seeing students perform with confidence and genuine expression is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. I enjoy helping learners unlock new possibilities in their voice and musicianship. My aim is to create lessons that inspire growth, confidence, and a lasting love of singing.

My singing lessons focus on helping students discover a healthy and expressive voice. We work on breath management, vocal placement, resonance, phrasing, pitch control, and emotional interpretation through practical exercises and guided practice. Lessons are designed to balance technical growth with artistic development.
I use mindfulness techniques, vocal imagery, performance preparation activities, and listening exercises to help students sing with greater freedom and confidence. Learners develop stronger awareness of their voice while improving consistency and control. Every lesson encourages steady progress in a supportive environment.
Whether students sing for enjoyment, performance, or personal development, lessons are tailored to their goals. I provide constructive feedback and clear strategies for improvement. My goal is to help every learner feel confident and expressive when they sing.
