About Tessa
With 8 years of teaching and a BM in Choral Conducting (vocal emphasis), I specialize in studio vocal coaching. My lessons prepare students for recording sessions in styles like R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic music. I train in microphone technique and vocal compression. You’ll learn how to use Auto-Tune intentionally and musically. Layering harmonies creates a full, professional sound. I also coach how to work well with producers in the studio. I teach school singers, emerging artists, and adults targeting commercial release. Each lesson strengthens technique, studio-readiness, and vocal expression. I encourage artistry and confidence in every session. Your voice deserves to be heard clearly and creatively.

My teaching is focused on giving you the tools to sing confidently in auditions and performances. I work on your voice, but also your mindset and stage habits. Song choice is where we begin—I help match repertoire to your unique sound. We refine your technique through exercises that target tone, breath, and pitch. You’ll learn how to stand, move, and project presence. I teach ways to manage nervous energy so it doesn’t overwhelm your performance. With adult beginners, I build confidence from the ground up. With advanced teens, I refine expression and delivery. Mock auditions are part of our regular practice, along with feedback that’s supportive and specific. You’ll walk into auditions knowing you’re ready. Singing should feel like sharing, not proving. Together, we’ll make every audition feel like your best performance.
