About Leah
My love of singing began through a fascination with the power of music to communicate emotion, culture, and personal stories. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies followed by a Master of Music in Vocal Performance. During my 9 years of teaching experience, I have worked with singers of different ages, styles, and experience levels, helping them develop confidence through supportive instruction. Teaching singing allows me to combine artistic expression with meaningful personal growth.
I particularly enjoy helping students refine their musical interpretation and discover their individual artistic voices. My teaching style balances technical development with creative exploration, allowing learners to build strong foundations while expressing themselves authentically. Through personalized coaching, performance preparation, and constructive feedback, I help students achieve their vocal goals in a positive environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, studying vocal repertoire, and exploring diverse musical traditions. These experiences help me bring variety and inspiration into every lesson. Watching students gain confidence and achieve milestones they once thought impossible is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work. I am committed to helping learners develop strong vocal skills while enjoying the lifelong rewards of music.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop a healthy, expressive, and confident voice while enjoying the learning process. I guide learners through audition preparation, vocal technique, confidence building, song interpretation, breath coordination, phrasing, resonance development, stage presence, and personal expression. Lessons are carefully structured to balance technical improvement with artistic growth. Students learn how vocal skills support emotional communication, helping them connect more effectively with both music and audiences. Every lesson encourages progress while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Instruction is personalized to match each student's experience level and goals. Beginners develop confidence through foundational breathing exercises, pitch accuracy work, and simple repertoire. Intermediate singers strengthen vocal control, expressive phrasing, stylistic versatility, and performance readiness. Advanced learners focus on audition preparation, advanced interpretation, vocal consistency, and artistic refinement. Students who are building confidence receive patient encouragement, while those pursuing ambitious goals benefit from structured guidance and detailed feedback. Continuous support helps learners achieve steady improvement.
Singing is both a technical skill and a personal journey. My lessons help students discover their strengths while developing confidence in their unique voices. As learners progress, they often become more comfortable expressing themselves and performing for others. My goal is to help every student develop lasting vocal skills while finding joy and authenticity in singing.
