About Hetty
Hi, I'm Hetty.
Sewing has been a hobby of mine for over 15 years now and has been my profession for 10. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to teach others how to construct garments from scratch, and thoroughly enjoy using my sewing skills to repair items, or transform them to give clothing a new lease of life!
I also got an A* in Textiles A level and GCSE, so if you're in need of any help in these areas too, I'd love to help.

Want to give your clothes a new lease of life?
Here to support beginners in alterations, garment construction and making homeware.
Happy to cater teaching methods to however my students learn best. For example, I can demonstrate or guide you through the process together.
Lessons lengths are flexible, usually around 1 hour.
I previously taught fashion lessons at The Fashion School, and have since been a manager of an alterations shop.
My lessons are for beginners of all ages.
