About Lyra
My love for violin began through childhood exposure to orchestral music and classical performances that inspired creativity and curiosity. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, a Master’s Degree in Instrumental Performance, and later a PhD in Classical String Performance. Over the past 11 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds while helping them strengthen confidence and technical skill through supportive teaching methods.
I believe music learning should feel inspiring, structured, and emotionally rewarding for every learner regardless of experience level. My teaching style focuses on technical clarity, patient instruction, and expressive interpretation that allow students to improve naturally while building strong musical foundations. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and participate actively because confidence develops through encouragement and regular practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music collaborations, orchestral performances, and studying historical interpretations of violin repertoire. Staying connected to music creatively helps me bring fresh inspiration and artistic perspective into lessons regularly. Teaching violin is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students discover confidence and individuality through music. My goal is always to support learners in becoming expressive, disciplined, and passionate musicians.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical ability while building confidence and emotional connection with music through supportive learning. I teach posture, bow control, rhythm accuracy, intonation, sight reading, and expressive phrasing in a calm environment where learners can improve comfortably at their own pace. Students learn how strong foundations support expressive performance and long-term musical growth naturally. Every lesson encourages patience, focus, and creative exploration.
Lessons are personalized carefully according to the learner’s experience level and musical goals. Beginners focus on open string exercises, hand positioning, rhythm practice, and simple melodies, while advanced students work on vibrato, advanced bowing techniques, interpretation, and performance preparation. I include ear training, guided repetition, and slow practice methods regularly because consistent practice strengthens both coordination and confidence effectively. Students receive constructive guidance that supports improvement without creating unnecessary stress.
I aim to create a reassuring atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music without fear of mistakes or judgment. Many learners initially struggle with nervousness or technical uncertainty, so I focus on gradual progress through encouragement and achievable goals. Over time, students improve musical expression, stage confidence, and technical control naturally. Violin becomes much more meaningful when learners discover how deeply music can communicate emotion, creativity, and individuality.
