My son has had violin lessons with Andrew for almost a year now. My son is easily distracted but Andrew has been very patient with him and has been good at explaining things. My 9 year old is enjoying his lessons and has progressed very well.

I met Andrew during the pandemic era, looking to move my music lessons online.

Since then, Andrew has been consistently reliable and with his teaching style.
For example, we have studied sight-reading through using songs we know and finding it's sheet music online.


The online lessons help me overall with my busy schedule as they are flexible and do not waste time in travelling. The occasional face to face lessons gives me the chance play together and perform the pieces we've learned.

During this time I have acted as his personal assistant on a part-time basis and therefore have seen his lesson planning and the diligent way he approaches all his teaching. He teaches using advanced differentiation skills, that is to say he finds a way of putting across the lesson in a way that would benefit the student based on their personality, age and ability et cetera. He’s punctual fun polite and highly professional. I would not hesitate to recommend him as a piano, violin, music technology teacher. He is also an excellent vocal coach too.
