About Andrea
As a university student studying violin performance, I bring years of technical expertise and a love for teaching, helping, and inspiring others. I started learning music when I was in elementary school and have continued studying and playing music ever since. I have taken private violin lessons for 5 years with several professional musicians, with Scott O'Donnell, a professional performer and educator, being my main violin teacher. I tailor lessons based on each student's needs, priorities, and learning style. I focus on developing fundamental skills, musical expression, and efficient practice methods. Whether you are a complete beginner or intermediate level player, I create a safe, positive, supportive, and structured learning environment to help you grow confidently as a musician, all at your own pace.

My lessons integrate sight-reading, music theory and ear training. From learning how to read sheet music to playing your first full piece on the violin, my lessons will prepare you to achieve your violin-playing goals. I can teach basic beginners without any musical experience to early intermediate level players, all ages are welcome! With over 10 years of experience playing with ensembles and solo, and having passed several auditions throughout my musical journey, I aim to help students refine their skills and overcome any insecurities, whether for audition preparation or personal growth.
