About Indiana
I am a currently a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Canterbury aspiring towards a Bachelor of Communications degree, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Chinese Mandarin.
As a classical violinist, I have been playing the violin for over 11 years and am adeptly involved in the music scene - even taking on a performance music course at the University of Canterbury and the associate concertmaster position of the Christchurch Youth Orchestra. I have received NCEA excellence endorsements in Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3, and sat the NZQA scholarship music exam.
I have also been fortunate enough to make it through to the South Island finals of the NZCT Chamber Music competition and have been assistant concertmaster of the Burnside High School orchestra.
