About Ruby
My passion for the violin began through an admiration for its expressive range and emotional depth. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music before earning a Master’s Degree in Advanced String Performance. During my 8 years of teaching experience, I have guided students through different stages of musical learning.
I believe strong teaching comes from combining technical knowledge with patience and encouragement. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand the purpose behind each technique while developing confidence in their abilities. I enjoy creating lessons that are supportive, engaging, and tailored to individual needs.
Outside teaching, I continue studying violin repertoire, attending performances, and exploring different interpretation styles. These experiences help me bring fresh ideas into every lesson. Helping students grow into expressive and capable violinists remains one of the most meaningful parts of my profession.

My violin lessons are designed to help students develop reliable technique while building confidence in their musical abilities. We focus on posture, bow control, rhythm accuracy, intonation, tone production, and finger coordination through carefully structured exercises and engaging repertoire. Every lesson encourages steady progress and a deeper understanding of music.
As learners improve, we work on shifting, vibrato development, articulation styles, sight reading, musical interpretation, and performance preparation. Lessons are adapted to match individual goals and experience levels, ensuring that each student receives meaningful support. Guided practice and constructive feedback help learners strengthen their skills effectively.
I believe violin study should encourage both discipline and creativity. My goal is to help students become confident musicians who can express themselves naturally through performance. Every lesson promotes growth, musical understanding, and long-term development.
