About Elin
My passion for violin began with a deep admiration for classical music and expressive performance. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and have 6 years of teaching experience working with students of various ages and skill levels. Over time, I have developed a structured yet flexible teaching approach that supports both technical growth and emotional expression in music.
My teaching philosophy focuses on clarity, patience, and step-by-step development. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching pace and methods according to individual needs. I emphasize understanding technique deeply rather than rushing through pieces, helping students build long-term confidence and independence in their playing. This ensures steady progress and stronger musical awareness.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing violin repertoire, exploring classical compositions, and studying performance techniques. These experiences help me bring freshness and depth into my lessons. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching students grow from uncertain beginners into confident musicians who can perform with expression, accuracy, and emotional depth. That transformation continues to inspire my dedication every day.

My violin lessons focus on building strong technical foundations while developing musical expression and confidence. I teach posture, bow hold, bow control, finger placement, intonation training, shifting techniques, vibrato basics, rhythm accuracy, and expressive phrasing. Each concept is explained step by step so students can understand clearly and apply it with control. The learning process is designed to be calm, structured, and supportive.
Students are guided according to their level and musical goals. Beginners focus on open strings, basic finger patterns, posture correction, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners develop shifting, tone production, vibrato control, and smoother bowing techniques. Advanced students work on interpretation, advanced bowing styles, performance preparation, and repertoire refinement. Students preparing for exams or concerts receive structured practice routines with clear goals. Continuous feedback ensures consistent improvement and correction.
Learning violin requires patience, focus, and steady practice. My lessons create a supportive environment where students can grow without pressure. Over time, learners develop stronger listening skills, better control, and more expressive playing. My goal is to help students feel confident in their ability to perform and enjoy music deeply.
