About Claudia
I have 5+ years of experience as a teacher and 8+ as a practitioner of the discipline. I have given private and public classes of between 1 and 30 students. Private classes have been given mainly to people with a chronic or physical problem such as cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis and elders. My Vinyasa students have seen results in strength and flexibility thanks to their perseverance and dedication in practice. My students with specific problems have improved their quality of life including physically verifiable results such as an increase in the production of red blood cells.

My classes are between 45 mins to 90 minutes depending on the students. As a teacher I really like to incorporate the philosophy of yoga and initiation to meditation as well as the physical practice of breathing and postures. I had the opportunity to study with disciples of both Rama Swami (creator of the Vinyasa method) and Swami Veda (successor of Swami Rama, meditation guru) both leading teachers in his branch of teaching. I like to teach creative and dynamic classes always working on something new based on students' suggestions and needs. A regular routine is conformed by meditation (5 minutes), breathing (5 minutes), warm-up (10 minutes), sun salutations (10 minutes), main postures according to each practice's approach (20 minutes), cooling down and full body relaxation (15minutes). Times vary according to the stablished class time.
