About Matias
I am a Video Game Design graduate with strong experience in Unreal Engine, game design, level design, and digital art. My background combines both the creative and technical sides of game development, allowing me to teach students how to design interactive experiences while also understanding the tools behind them.
I've created my very first game from scratch, starting with simple ideas and learning how to turn them into a playable experience step by step. That process taught me how challenging game development can feel at the beginning, and it shaped the way I teach today.
Throughout my studies and personal projects, I have built playable games, designed levels, and created 3D environments using professional workflows. This hands-on experience allows me to explain concepts in a practical way that students can immediately apply.
My goal is to help students build confidence, think like designers, and create portfolio-ready work they can be proud of. I work especially well with beginners, design students, and aspiring game creators who want supportive guidance while learning Unreal Engine and game design principles.

My lessons focus on teaching Unreal Engine, game design, level design, and digital art through real, hands-on projects that students can use in their portfolios. Instead of only learning theory, students build playable levels, design game mechanics, and create environments using the same workflow used in the game industry.
A typical lesson starts with a clear objective, such as designing a level layout, creating a game interaction, or building assets for a scene. What sets me apart is that I am a Video Game Design graduate who combines technical skills with creative design. Students learn how gameplay, environment design, and digital art all connect to create immersive game experiences.
