About Andrea
Teaching has been my dream job and I love getting to be a part of shaping a young person’s life. The most joy in teaching is when a student runs into me and shares something they have used that I taught them. This is when teachers get to see their impact. It is so rewarding to hear that even if I wasn’t sure I got through in the moment that they took something with them when they left my classroom. Something that truly helped them be successful.

As a veteran teacher who has taught a wide variety of ages 4th grade through 12th grade, I have a wealth of experience in helping students reach their goals and exceed them. I love helping get this AHA moments when the material or understanding finally comes to life. My lessons are tailored to each student as we all learn in different ways and I will try different approaches until my student is able to gain confidence in whatever area we are working in.
