About Daniel
I'm an avid and experienced composer, producer, remixer, sound designer and DJ with 22+ years of experience. I've released music under the names Aligning Minds and most recently, A Path Untold.
I've been using Ableton Live on a near-daily basis since early 2001, and have grown and evolved with it as a creative environment, both as a creator as well as an educator. I've released 7 full lenth albums, 7 EP's, numerous singles and remixes on a wide range of very well respected labels. I've been an actively releasing, touring and collaborating artist for over 2 decades. including sound design for 2cAudio, scoring work for Image Comics, Resident DJ & Sound Artist for one of the leading art galleries on an international scale, and much more.
I've been offering private lessons and leading group workshops for composition and production since 2008, helping my students develop their skills in Songwriting & Idea Creation, Sound Design, Arrangement, Mixing, Mastering, Performance and DJ'ing - from beginner to advanced levels.
I've worked tirelessly to incorporate the technical aspects of music production with my additional expertise as a Certified Creativity Coach, in an effort to cultivate a holistic approach that encompasses technology, technique and optimal creative mindset. This allows me to help my students not just with the technicals of composition and production, but also in overcoming personal creative blocks like perfectionism, overwhelm, procrastination, and more.
I absolutely love teaching, coaching and mentoring developing composers and producers - it's my passion and my profession.

I help developing composers and producers refine their skills in the areas of Songwriting & Idea Creation, Music Theory, Sound Design, Arrangement, Mixing, Mastering, Performance and DJ'ing - ranging from beginner to advanced levels.
I offer this knowledge to all ages and skill levels, and I cater my teaching approach to each and every student's unique needs, vision, goals and learning style. This tailored approach allows us to truly tap into what you want to accomplish as an artist. I strongly value and prefer the 1-on-1, personlized approach with a potent, human- to-human connection.
In addition, I offer a highly unique approach in that I also incorporate my additional expertise as a Certified Creativity Coach, in an effort to cultivate a holistic approach that encompasses technology, technique and optimal creative mindset.
