About Connor
As a Singing tutor with 17 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of helping many students develop their musical talents and confidence. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are interested in improving their vocal abilities and understanding of music.
My teaching philosophy centres on personalised instruction and positive reinforcement. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. By creating customised lesson plans, I ensure that learners receive the support necessary for success.
My lessons include vocal exercises, breath support, pitch accuracy, rhythm training, tone quality, articulation, and stage performance preparation. Through practical demonstrations and performance-based learning, students gain confidence and improve their abilities. Regular feedback helps track progress and maintain motivation.
Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, Song Interpretation, and Music Appreciation. These subjects provide students with a broader understanding of music and strengthen their overall performance skills. I also encourage creativity and self-expression.
My goal is to inspire students to pursue their musical ambitions with confidence. I am committed to helping learners enjoy the learning process while achieving meaningful and lasting results.

My teaching methodology for Singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that every student learns differently, and successful vocal training should be adapted to meet individual needs. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their vocal abilities, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.
I begin by understanding each student's goals, interests, strengths, and challenges. This allows me to create personalised lesson plans that support steady progress and meaningful improvement. Whether a student is learning for personal growth, school activities, competitions, or professional purposes, I adjust my approach accordingly.
Creativity is an important part of my lessons. I use engaging vocal exercises, song interpretation, listening practice, and performance activities to make learning interactive and enjoyable. These activities help students develop both technical and artistic skills.
My lessons focus on breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, rhythm control, diction, vocal tone, expression, and stage presence. Students receive practical guidance that helps them apply these skills confidently in performances and everyday singing.
Understanding and patience help create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I support students through challenges and celebrate their achievements to keep them motivated.
Time management ensures that every lesson is organised and productive. Sessions include vocal warm-ups, technical exercises, song practice, and progress evaluations.
Besides Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Singing, Vocal Health, and Performance Skills. My goal is to help students become confident, expressive, and accomplished singers.
