About Vela
I am an ESL tutor with 9+ years of experience teaching high school and college students, dedicated to helping learners develop fluency, confidence, and strong academic performance. My teaching philosophy is centered on personalized learning, ensuring that every lesson is tailored to the student’s unique needs, goals, and learning style.

I teach ESL using a C³P framework—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving. Creativity is encouraged through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based learning that inspires students to think independently and express themselves confidently.
Communication is central to my lessons. I incorporate discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises to strengthen fluency, comprehension, and real-life communication skills.
