About Felice
Hello! It’s lovely to meet you. My name is Felice and I graduated with a 98.35 ATAR in 2018. I received a raw 50 study score in VCE English Language and a Premier’s VCE Award in the subject.
As a recipient of a raw 50 study score, I have a very strong understanding of the study design and what it takes for you to succeed. Not only do I provide you with a plethora of practice texts and contemporary media examples, I also share numerous study techniques I actively used to become the top 0.3% in the state.
Since then I have tutored English Language in class settings and private lessons. With over 6 years of experience, my classes always offer an opportunity for you to think deeply and ask questions. I create tailored lesson plans based on your areas of improvement and track your progress weekly.
Regardless of whether you also want to achieve a raw 50 or a certain study score to enter your course, I am here to support you in reaching your goal.
Recently I finished my double degree in Laws (Honours) and Arts at Monash University with a major in journalism and minor in linguistics (yes, lots of words and writing as you can imagine!).

My VCE English Language lessons focus on two main areas - firstly, ensuring that you are on top of the content and metalanguage; and secondly, providing you with practice texts and questions to consolidate your learning.
However, my lessons will always be guided by what you would benefit from the most. For each lesson, I observe your learning style and use your feedback to create the following week’s lesson plan.
Here’s what you can expect from weekly one-hour lessons with me:
Short answer practice
- Practice with analysing a range of text types
- Understanding every metalinguistic term in detail and identifying examples with ease
- Tips on how to score full marks on short answer questions, especially on the more difficult 6 markers
Analytical commentaries
- Regular practice with analysing informal/formal, spoken/written text types
- Tips on identifying niche discussion points that other students commonly miss
- Support with structuring your AC so all salient features are discussed
Essays
- Constant support with adding to your contemporary media examples collection
- Breaking down complex topics together and forming convincing arguments
- Support with structure, written expression, grammar, and vocabulary
In addition, I share an abundance of high-scoring responses, ACs, and essays. I provide meticulous feedback on your strengths and areas for improvement.
