About Sharnica
Hi! My name is Sharnica and I am a 4th year medical student at Monash University (Bachelor of Medical Science/Doctor of Medicine). I graduated in 2022 with an ATAR of 99.65 and a raw study score of 49 in Biology! Although Biology is a content-heavy and often daunting subject, throughout my journey with VCE and Biology I discovered some extremely effective study methods and techniques which I want to share with you as well! - Over 1000 hours of tutoring experience + over 300 hours experience as an assistant teacher
- 3 years of experience teaching VCE Biology!
What does tutoring involve?
- Tutoring is tailored to your personal learning style and preference. That's why I offer a FREE 30 minute consultation, to understand your goals and needs as a student and cater my tutoring to you!
- I will provide you with the high yield notes I used to score a raw 49, which includes key terminology and concepts that score high marks on the exam
- Incorporation of exam questions from Day 1 of tutoring, to ensure that you are prepared early on for your SACs and Biology exam
- I will provide you with a range of other resources including exam question worksheets, study and exam strategies, regular feedback, practice SACs and around the clock advice
- I will be focusing on your understanding and application of Biology content, rather than rote memorization
- You will receive 24/7 support through text and email, where you can ask any questions regarding Biology, VCE, studying, medicine entry etc.
- I will also share insightful and effective study techniques to make your VCE journey enjoyable!
- Detailed and honest feedback will be provided, to help you continually improve
- Content will be completed months in advance of your school, so that there is ample time for exam preparation!
- I can provide advice regarding entry into Medicine if you wish
