About Agata
I am currently a teacher in Chicago. I teach 2nd and 3rd graders violin and 4-8th graders band. My classes consist of fun times where we not only learn our instruments and music for performances throughout the year, but we also have fun learning our instruments and music through games.

I primarily teach elementary and middle school aged students, but I am also certified to teach high school. Lessons will be 30 minutes or 1 hour long and will be based on learning instruments and music through practicing and rehearsing the skill together. If a student wants to learn Trumpet, for example, they should have a Trumpet ready to play during the lesson. My goal is to have lessons be a fun learning experience and for them to be customized to the student's needs. Generally, we would warm up with some long tones and then play a couple excerpts of music that either you have, or I have provided for the lesson. The first lesson will be super important for me so that I can feel out the level of the student and be able to prep the future lessons based on what the student is able to do and what their goals are.
Lessons will be held virtually either through Zoom , FaceTime or Google Meets.
