About Valeriia
Hi! I’m Valeriia, a certified English teacher from Ukraine with a CELTA qualification and a degree in Law. I’ve been teaching since 2013 and still love what I do. Helping students grow, gain confidence, and achieve their goals gives me real joy and motivation. I started my teaching journey at a Helen Doron center, where I worked with kids and teens. After some time, I focused on pre-teens and teenagers and became a Senior Teacher, helping new colleagues with their teaching. At the same time, I worked for 8 years at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the International Collaboration Department, where I developed strong skills in academic and formal writing in English. Since 2020, I’ve been teaching online — a flexible and effective format I truly enjoy. In 2021, I completed the CELTA course, and over the past few years, I’ve helped students prepare for Cambridge exams and pass IELTS. Currently, I also teach at MVHS in Germany, preparing 9th graders for the Quali exam.
