About Glenda
I am currently a first year PhD student at UWA, studying Plant Biochemistry. I obtained my Bachelor of Science (Molecular Biology & Biotechnology) in 2016 and Bachelor of Science (Hons.)(Genetics) in 2017, both from UWA.
Before moving to Perth from Singapore, I was a volunteer tutor for English, Math & Science for 1 year. During the course of my PhD, I am also a laboratory demonstrator at UWA.

I believe that it is important for the student to understand each concept before moving on to the next topic, so before moving on to the next topic, I would usually give a small test/quiz to check on the student's understanding.
I also think that learning should not just come from textbooks but from different types of educational sources such as videos, which can help enhance learning and grasping concepts.
